While we are rushing into Christmas, just a few days away, take some time for yourself. I’ve been so busy knitting small things; things I give as gifts, things that I sell in my small farm store and just new patterns that I come up with. I haven’t taken much time in the last month to just sit and enjoy the season or reflect on the year that’s gone by so quickly. I’m sure we all thought that 2020 was going to be the year that everyone remembered as the most challenging in our lifetimes. But surprisingly, 2021 has proven to be just as hard in many ways too. But I am thankful that my family is healthy, that I haven’t gotten Covid, that I’ve been vaccinated and boosted and feel relatively safe, that in-person shows came back this fall. We all want to get on with our lives and in many ways we are, but also, there are so many things that changed that have become our new normal. Regardless of all of that, it’s kindness that gives people a reason to smile, so in this season of giving, give and spread kindness!
Happy Holidays,
Beth & the Pacas
